DAY 1 - Peru, Flights to Cusco

Today we depart Ecuador and board our flights to Cusco, Peru. When we arrive in Cusco we will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel where we will have some time at leisure to allow our bodies to adjust to the higher altitude.

Included meals: Breakfast (in Quito before departure)
Accommodation: Htl 4* Costa del Sol Ramada Cusco by Wyndham: Colonial

DAY 2 - Cusco City Tour & Dinner and Show

Today we will enjoy a half day city tour, taking in the best view of the city from atop Cerro Pukamoqo (Red Peak). We will visit the nearby Fortaleza de Sacsayhuamán (Fortress of Sacsayhuamán). This is a colossal structure of enormous stones which have been carved and fitted together in antiquity with incredible precision. There will also be a stop off at the Mercado de San Pedro (Market of St. Peter), which being the city’s main street market will give you an opportunity to get to know the products of Cusco. The sights, aromas, tastes, and colours of this region can be overwhelming- you may just want to sit and watch the world go by, enjoying a hot drink and soaking up the atmosphere.

Our tour will also take in one of the most impressive buildings of Incan Cusco: the Korikancha (the Golden Temple) - a temple dedicated to the worship of the Sun God, whose interior walls were said to have been covered in gold. You will complete the day with a stroll through the Cusco Plaza de Armas (Main Square), where you can visit the Cathedral and admire its exquisite vestibules and priceless paintings from the Cusco School of the 17th and 18th centuries. Tonight we'll enjoy the best combination of Peruvian Novo-andenean dinner and folkloric show.

Included meals: Breakfast & Dinner
Accommodation: Htl 4* Costa del Sol Ramada Cusco by Wyndham: Colonial

DAY 3 - Cusco to The Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu

This morning, we will continue the trip toward the Sacred Valley. First stop will be at Pisac, a beautiful place where Incan and Colonial influences have reached a perfect balance and created a unique way of life for the local inhabitants. You will get a chance to explore this quaint town, famous for its artisan markets where you can find extraordinarily fine jewellery and ceramic and textile craftwork. Afterwards, we visit one of the last remaining Incan towns, Ollantaytambo, which was once fiercely guarded by a massive fortress. Discover the large archeological complex of what used to serve as a wayside inn for royal delegations on long journeys. Surviving structures here include multiple walls and towers that were used to protect the citadel from possible invasions.

This afternoon we will take our private transfer to Ollantaytambo train station to take the vistadome train to Aguas Calientes.

Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Htl 5* Machu Picchu Hotel Sumaq Luxury Edition : Sumaq Deluxe Garden View

DAY 4 - Machu Picchu, return to Cusco

Today you'll visit the Santuario Histórico de Machu Picchu (Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu) with a resident guide. You will board a bus that will take you to the entrance gate of the citadel of Machu Picchu, rediscovered by Hiram Bingham more than a century ago. Machu Picchu is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World, with its architectural beauty, spectacular natural landscapes and the energy held in its enigmatic structures - it will take your breath away. Follow in the footsteps of the ancient Incans as you explore the magical citadel with a local guide. After the tour, you will stop at a local restaurant for lunch.

After our amazing tour of the citadel, you'll board the return train at Aguas Calientes Station for the journey back to Cusco. Transfer back to our hotel from the train station and enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Accommodation: Htl 4* Costa del Sol Ramada Cusco by Wyndham: Colonial
